I don't know of any postal or courier company that would give the sender a delivery time that is that accurate so, unless they hand-delivered your package, your story is simply not believable.

I just had a similar mail from DPD saying my package will arrive between 12.41 & 13.41 today.
Will see if it happens, but I am very surprised to get such an email from a delivery firm...

Perhaps they do on occasion deliver what they say they will. Even if this is an OK piece of kit, I dont think I will be risking it again...

Well, it arrived in the time frame offered, but WITHOUT the HDMI cable that was promised in the box.
Dont really care about that, but still, after chewing my nails as to whether it would arrive, it did. Seems to be working, but would still be vary wary about buying again.

Interesting to see that they now seem to be trading as Liquidity Services Ltd - "The European source for Business Surplus". Looks as though maybe they are trying to distance themselves from the Willen Trading name as it has such a bad reputation?

Their business model seems to be buying "surplus" from companies and government departments, and then selling the items individually, which probably explains why the end buyer experience is so mixed. Some of the "surplus" is almost certainly customer returns, which could be in any state - working or not, complete or not...

having came across this post only after placing my orders for 5 different items.. I was extremely nervous about the outcome. but 4 items arrived the very next day and the final item arrived a day later. products were as new or as described so I am very happy at least. only issue was that I didnt recieve any delivery confirmation emails until after I'd received the final item today. the email said between 10:42-11:42 and they came at around 11.30.

Bought a camera from Willen (aka Liquidity) Feb 2011. All went through smoothly. Their courier DPD did provide a delivery time (11:30 - 12:30 in my case) and delivered within that time frame. The camera was as good as new and I have no issues with it. This is some of the correspondence I had with the company:
