Argos sell some at a reasonable price... the point with the cardboard ones however IS that they should claw them to shreds and therefor leave your house and furniture alone

they always have a massive selection [small to very large] all sorts. Don't forget they are on a cashback too.0 -
These are expensive but they'll last forever!

I bought a £120 one from zooplus 5 months ago and its swaying terribly lol - wish i'd bought a kalven one0 -
I'll second ZooPlus - have used them for many years. Great products, far cheaper than Argos et al, and also decent delivery (DHL or similar). If you google around, you can also usually find a discount code which will give you 5-10% off.

Get to the beach and get driftwood - its free!- It has a great easily shreddable surface for cats after it has spent time in the salty water. I live 100yds from the beach so I have a ready supply and my cats love the stuff - I even "plant" posts in the garden just for them.Garantissez-moi de mes amis, je saurai me defendre de mes ennemis0

Another good place is Russell Hardy designs aka http://www.catscratcher.com/ They are all handmade with solid wooden posts. I have the De Luxe Bastion one, have had it since my two kittens were tiny, it gets intensive use and still looks as good today (18 months on) than it did when I got it.
