How about my dancing shoes:D now they have seen some things;) they have travelled around the world with me:cool: never let me down are as comfortable as slippers been to weddings/ birthdays/ parties/ christenings and I love them as I bought them half price in the sale:T

The City and Guilds qualification for Activities Coordinator is no longer available; Open University has modules relating to older people and the summaries of what issues the modules cover are worth a quick read

Another vote for the dancing shoes. I think that photos of your gran would be personal to you and may not resonate with other people. It could also remind them of one of the two certanties in life (the other being taxes).
