They usually are but if not they can easily be unlocked here on mse by Browntoa, Drachir and co. :)

Most Nokia's can be unlocked easily but for other phones please read this thread.

Haha! No wonder you're confused! Someone in this thread recommended a Nokia on O2 and it followed that one. [I can't stop laughing! I think that I'm confused!] :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Just to avoid anyone else's confusion here as the post you refer to actually says "I have myself got 1 Nokia from O2 and 3 Siemens from Virgin. They all working fine."

If BFJ is referring to the Samsung phone in the OP, most Samsung cannot be unlocked by using a code.

If BFJ is referring to the Nokia and Siemens phones, the Nokia can be unlocked quite easily yourself but the Siemens and the Samsung will need to be taken to a local shop or if you have a market nearby, try there icon7.gif

However, as in the post I quote if you buy from Virgin and buy £30 of credit, Virgin will send you the unlocking code for free.

To mmlh, I have had reconditioned phones from Virgin and 02 and all have been in excellent condition and a bargain. icon12.gif
