I've never cut bits off the receipt as in some receipts that would get rid of the date as well and I think companies could get particular about that. I have, however, blacked out card or loyalty card details before, and have never had problems before.0

I think someone on an earlier post said they had trouble when a company found they had used the same loyalty card for both transactions even though they had used 2 different addresses, and the company denied the claim. Maybe a good idea would be to use 2 different supermarkets if you're going down that route.0

Good idea. When a company required the date of purchase, like with the Veet offer, I left that bit on. But as I said, I've never had a problem before, although I have been uneasy about doing it. I think I was actually advised on this thread that it would be ok to do it when I first started doing TMFs/MBGs, that's why I did! It was certainly on MSE if not this thread...0 -
Potential Issue
I bought the Cassa di Mama Pizza. Just looked at my receipt and on it, it just says
"Pizza - £2.79"
I have torn off a strip of the packaging too but will they pay up seeing as the receipt doesn't mention their brand of pizza.... just says Pizza...0 -

Please can someone tell me where they have found the METHOD and OZKLEEN products? I've searched high and low in a Tesco Extra, an Asda and a Sainsbury's and have still not found one! Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help x x x0
