I must get more organised. Have just realised I bought my Perspirex 28 days ago. Now no time to send off!

Just had a look at the T&Cs - no mention that you have to apply within 28 days of purchase. It does say they will send your refund within 28 days of them receiving it - could you be getting confused with that bit?:)

Perspirex - fairview, I am afraid you are indeed too late:

Front of pack- yellow flash 'T&C's apply . See back of pack for details.'
Back of pack - yellow box - 'Applications must be received within 28 days of purchase'

My friend who tested this product on my behalf said it smelt like cat pee, and overpowered any B.O emanating from her armpit.
Will that do for a negative statement?

Perspirex definitely has to be sent back within 28 days, although they are also efficient with sending the refund (got mine within a couple of weeks).

I wouldn't say it smells of cat wee, lol - it's meant to be fragrance-free, I think? But it's not the most pleasant product to use on one's armpits.

Thank you everyone for all your posts - I will update the first post soon (stupid real life keeps getting in the way, lol!) :)

It smelt a bit like vinegar and was blummin' painful, but it didn't work for me. It's all good though. I got the moolah back quite fast and I am happy. I'm glad I saw the TMF on it. Woohoo.

Ahh, I knew I should have kept quiet!

It's still worth a shot if you're only a day or two over the 28 days. I just missed the 28 days deadline with Veet but sent it anyway and they still refunded me. I was only a day or two out by the time they received it though.

    Nothing to lose I suppose?

Exactly. Vanish and Frank's Hot Sauce did not let me have my money back when I sent claims off one day late. I tried all the same though. Oh well.

Just been to Boots today. Noticed Braun epilators are still try me free. This has been posted before but they are currently 1/3 rd off in Boots. With vouchers from Advantage card I got one for £48 pounds plus got £7.00 in Boots points too. Not bad and if I don't like it I can have a refund.
They also had Phillips shavers on try me free too.

  • How do you know which packs have a claim form please? Is it visible on outsde or do all packs featuring the offer contain a claim form inside? Any help please?

    Yes. On the cardboard sleeve.
Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!
