selling your stuff on Amazon...part 2

Hi all. Been silently observing this thread and over Xmas finally got round to opening a seller account, and to my surprise I'm averaging a book a day! (mostly my uni textbooks, although some of my Mum's receipe books may have "got lost when we moved house", she never uses them anyway!!!)
My problem is this, I have been transferring from my Amazon account to my bank account after each sale, as this account is what I use to pay for p&p etc, and so far so good. After listing another 2 books at 5pm last night, by midday today both had sold so went to transfer money across, but this option wasn't available. The other difference on my account summary was it said statement 13.01.06 (pending). The pending has not been there before. So does this mean I cant transfer until 13.01.06, and/or they will transfer automatically then? sorry if this has been asked before but appreciate your answers and thanks again for the inspiration!0 -
Hi superstar - well done, a book sale a day is very good.
I wonder if they have got a bit fed up with you taking the money after every sale? or maybe it's because they won't agree to transfer at the weekend. Either way you will get the money transferred on the 13th automatically0 -
Thanks tycoon, just checked my account again now and the option has appeared so done the transfer, all OK!0

Just registered and listed a couple of books will see what happens :jHere dead we lie because we did not choose

Yes!!! Go for it Ruby, my first sale seemed to take FOREVER but once the ball is rolling there'll be no stopping you!!!!!
Picked up my second box of free books today and I'm wading through them slowly...have imposed a buying ban for the next few days to try and keep down the clutter in the house!!!
Also got two swapits in pipeline so all good stuff :TLaughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -
Sorry if this has been asked before; but how do you list items (like CDs) when there isn’t an entry for that particular item selling on Amazon?
Can you make your own entry so you can list?0 -
Unless the item is the Amazon database then it just doesn't exist. If you can find a near match, like if it's book club edition but they only have the 'real' edition then you can explain in the description that yours is slightly different. I don't see how this can work with anything other than a book to be honest0

I have some CD singles that are not listed on there because they are imports and hard to find. Maybe I will just have to use ebay then.0
