They tend to sell very quickly. If i recall correctly the player has been on sale nefore at aldi but many months ago. May be worth the wait?0

You may be lucky if you go to a store and ask.gromituk wrote:You won't find it on the site - Aldi/Lidl/Netto "specials" change every week.
I was ill when these came out, and thought that I had missed it. However, I went to my local store last week, and they still had a few left.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Do I just need an ISO antenna extension cable?
I do not know the exact name but the way you describe it makes some sense. I think I picked mine up from Halfords for £4.99 and it worked perfectly. It is a tad expensive, but there is little choice.Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?0 -

I think you`ll struggle to get one as short as you ideally need. Most of the ones ive seen are quite long.0 -
The part you want is a DIN to ISO adaptor. They have them in Halfords at £4.29.
This is what they look like.

Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks all for your help. I got a DIN-ISO adaptor from Halfords and all works fine.
The reception seems to be a bit weaker than the old Blaupunkt stereo that was there.
Nexxia sell boosters as well - do you think that'd be worth a shot?
The settings/presets get lost when the ignition is off - I remember reading someone else with a Vauxhall (the wife has a Corsa) who said that you need to switch ignition-live and permanent-live over. Can anyone else confirm this?

I have an Astra. You have to swap the Red and Yellow wires.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Thanks chief. I swapped them over and bingo, settings/presets are now remembered

FM reception still seems quite poor compared to the previous stereo. Still thinking whether to get a signal booster or not...
Thanks again everyone for your help. This space for rent0 -
