I just won £16.71 on a freebie slot thing,
so have transferred that into the bank account.
Got home to find a free bottle of febreeze flash cleaner I applied for ages ago. I need to fill in a survey and return it or something, but am pleased with the freebie.
Also receive my annual Lloyds loan statement whch has puzzled me slightly. The outstanding balance is now £8240.86 and they seem to charge the interst at really odd, varying intervals; but my main concern is that it states the APR is 9.7% pa., whereas I'm 99% sure it was 8.9% when I took the loan out. Would there be any reason why this has changed? I need to go and dig out the original paperwork and give them a call if needed. Hmm, this means it's going to take longer to pay the damn thing off!0 -
Hmmm, just had a look for the paperwork for that loan and I can't find the original agreement document, but I did find last year's statement which also has 9.7% on it. I'll have to have a good look at the weekend as I'm sure it was 8.9%.
Also off to look for new boiler care cover - ours has gone up with BG. Will see if Quidco wants to offer me any cashback too...0 -
Have found central heating cover for £1.50 cheaper a month than we will be paying if we stick with present supplier - not a lot of difference, but there's £11 CB available through Quidco so guess it makes it worth switching. Will do that a bit later on in the month before the other one expires.0

Yay, some of the ebay bids are going up finally.0

I'm sat here wondering if I can transfer some of our loan debt to a credit card on 0% - hmm, wonder if that's allowed?!0
-
Depends on where your loan is and how you pay it I think. Some credit cards have the function to be able to BT it. Have a look on the loans / credit card boards.
My tesco delivery is about to be late if it's not here soon. I may have to complain lol.0 -
Thanks yukki, I'll check out that board.
As for Tesco's, they're probably still digging up enough potatoes for your order! :rotfl:0 -
Am feeling in a much brighter mood today - probably because it's Friday and we've just booked a little break away in a few months time. We're sharing a cottage with friends and it's going to cost £45 for both of us for 5 days, so can't complain! They've also said we can give them the money next month too.
Back to moneySAVING (as opposed to moneyspending), and the ebay bids have gone up a little more, which is good. The total is now at around £25 with 2 days to go. I'm also bidding on something (max £3ish) that hasn't been listed very well and I'm confident I can list it properly and make a lot more money on it.
The weekend involves spending as little money as possible. I need to buy a few bits which, hopefully, will cost a max of £5-£10. The rest of the weekend will be spent cleaning and sorting the house out a bit and general chilling out I think.
