Not a whole lot of movement on the DFW front the past couple of days...
We're still just about clinging onto a positive balance in our bank account. There's not much in it, but we're not quite overdrawn yet! However, we will be when the £50's worth of shopping we had delivered last night comes out tomorrow! The Amazon payments haven't shown up in it yet, they always seem to take a while. No more sales since the weekend, although we don't have a lot left on there now.
One more survey this week, earning us another £1.10.I shall soon transfer this over to paypal when I have £15 or £20 in the account.
Ebay items are still going - plenty of watchers and up to about £25 so far with 4 days to go.
Tonight, I am finally getting round to taking back something I bought last week - so that'll be another £10 in the bank account.
I made a batch of muffins last night with fruit from our garden and ingredients we had in the cupboard. A couple of squishy bananas from the fruit bowl got thrown in too for good measure!
It's that annoying 'I can't make much progress on the debt-busting' time of month, although in just over a week when we get paid we shall be knocking a good £300 off that egg card balance which will make it look a lot better.

Well we've had another little sale on Amazon - for £1.03!!!
I've removed two things on there that were priced low as I've decided it's not really worth the effort by the time we post the thing. Will save those for the next car boot sale.0 -
Ok, I'll start with a positive this morning:
our ebay stash is up to £54 with 3 days to go. :j
Negative: we're currently £16 overdrawn, will be more once a few other things have come out.
Hopefully the ebay stuff will nearly cover the overdraft though when the auctions are finished.
A NSD for me today; a low spend day yesterday - and managed to return something to which is an extra tenner in the bank. Although spent £8 in said shop as had to pick up a birthday pressie for a friend and a couple of bits the home delivery shop didn't deliver as were out of stock.
Planning on raiding the house and garage tonight for more stuff we can ebay!

Thanks wantabetterlife x
I gotta stop checking ebay though to see if I have any more bids - I keep doing it nearly hourly in excitement! I think I need to get out more... without spending any money that is;)!

A day off today! Woo hoo! :j
I'm having a realxing day of pottering round the house.
I've paid the car tax online this morning - £86.50 for 6 months, but we already had the money saved for it, so didn't feel it like we used to!
Have also spent an hour and a half this morning entering competitions online - have to stop now as my eyes have gone boggly!
Ebay stuff up to £61 this morning!
Off to do some washing and hope the rain holds off as my dryer's broken. :rolleyes:0 -
A great ebay result this weekend - we made £130! :j Just from selling some clothes and bits! I was stunned! We are thinking of becoming naturists and selling all our clothes if we make that much! :rotfl:
I've received payment for everything except one item, just waiting on that one and £15 from surveys that I've transferred and then it'll be winging it's way into our bank account.
I've used £26 of it on some Christmas presents I saw at a good price online, so after that and ebay fees there'll be about £100 - £110 profit. I'd like to use it to pay off our credit cards a little more, but it will be needed for a new bed unfortunately - we've found one for £100 so it will be spent on that.
I also convinced hubby to part with some more books and bits yesterday. These, I shall list on Amazon tonight, as well as looking for more clothes and things for ebay. I have at least 4 more items to put on there at the moment, we shall see what else I can find!

Yesterday we had another sale on Amazon - for £4.70 - so this morning I've rounded it up to £5 and paid it off the egg card. :j There'll be another £300 paid off it this week too when I get paid.
I listed some more books on Amazon last night. I had about 12 to list, but 10 were already on the marketplace going for 1p, so I didn't bother with those - they've gone in the car boot sale box. The other two are listed, awaiting some lovely person to come along and buy them - hopefully soon!
I phoned up our gas and electricity supplier last night as I realised they had not changed us to the cheaper online tariff as I requested a couple of months ago. Hopefully they should have done so now and our bills will be a few pennies less. If they don't do this correctly I may even look at switching. Their prices are cheap but they are pretty poor at following instructions as we've found out on a few ocassions.
I have a few more things to ebay, but not having a camera is a problem. I will see if I can try and lend my friend's camera again, but I do feel a bit bad keep asking. Will have to look at getting a very cheap one when the budget permits.
I entered lots of competitions yesterday too - have been negelecting that for a while, but I should really get back into it.
Oh, and we're £75 overdrawn.

Finally received payment from the last ebay buyer today; plus the £12 survey money has hit the paypal account. This will have to stay in there to pay ebay fees which are about £13 so far.
Also been having trouble with one rude woman who bought something from me, saying that the item doesn't fit her and she wants to return it. Urgh. So I will be refunding and reselling one item when I get it back, which was £5.99. I know I don't have to, but anything for an easy life!
I've entered lots of competitions over the past few days, so fingers crossed I get lucky.
I'm also about to make a payment of £300 towards the egg card, in anticipation of pay day on Friday, so will update my signature to reflect that. The Virgin card will have to take the backburner this month. I'm praying I get a balance transfer offer from egg though in the next couple of weeks or we're in the doo doo, as I'm sure virgin will up the rate to whatever they fancy.:mad::mad:
I think any overtime I earned will just buffer the overdraft too this month. I had to fill the car up with petrol last night - cost £40!
Definitely need to get me a camera and get ebaying...
I would've done another car boot sale this wekeend but hubby has got to work on Sunday (no extra pay, just time off in lieu ) so I won't be able to do so.

Egg card now standing at £167.92 - that looks a lot better than it did! :j
Just paid £50 off the virgin card too, leaving it at £2550.
Have just looked into joining the shop and scan scheme, but I see you have to wait to be asked by them. Oh well, was worth a try.
Have worked out our budget for next month and, if I haven't forgotten anything, and if the overtime covers our overdraft, we should have around £250 left after everything's accounted for. Never seems to work like that though!
