A mate of mine who I told about this yesterday had just emailed me and said he had been talking to someone in Cust Services and was told that (prior to this sale) Empire sales were way behind where they were planned to be and they have loads of new goods arriving for the Xmas 'rush' and they desparately need the warehouse space. Hence they will be shipping the 'biggest/bulky items first' as a matter of utmost urgency. So if you've ordered sofas or TV's they should be delivered very quickly. If you've just ordered small stuff, they will take longer. HTH.
