Just looked at my order details, Panasonic Tv - out of stock,Sony p92 Out of stock also VCR out of stock... Black jacket substituted for the beige one.... otherwise rest of order is fine.
I'm rather annoyed that some people have ordered multiple orders in order to make money.... had to stop my husband from doing it.. it's just not in the spirit of MSE... is it guys???

I can't believe it; the courier company has just delivered my 3 Pana TV's adn 4 Sony camera's (one for each of the family!). Happy bunny or what!!! ;D ;D

The thing is I only ordered them yesterday morning - brilliant service!!! I asked the delivery blokes how come it was so quick and they just said "Dunno mate, we just hump the stuff on and off the van", then one of them said "Chuffing Hell (not exact words, but you get the drift) how many big TV's do you need? This lot must have cost you a fortune" - I didn't have the heart to tell him I only paid 120 for each one!!

How are you guys checking your orders? I've still never even recieved a confirmation email and have no idea what my 'customer reference number' is!

Just phoned Empire because the promotional code didn't go through even though when I tried it later (without clicking confirm) it added the code.

The lovely lady on the end of the phone gave me her name and said that even after its been dispatched to phone and they'll sort it out and give the discount!

What a nice company! Might make another order later. ;D

ive got an order confirmation now but i still cant see a customer reference number on it so how can i check the current status of my order?

Hi, Just checked my online account too, clothing I ordered is all 'despatched' portable tv 'no longer available' and personal CD player despatched, so not too bad. I'm happy with that. Buy the way, I have ordered from Empire for years and have NEVER recieved a parcel next day so someones telling porkys!!

Hmmm... Doesn't sound likely that empire would deliver next day. That is, unless they stocked up the vans on Sunday night in preparation for the rush!
All you lot who've been checking your orders, is there any way to find out your customer ref no. without phoning up to ask? I am a student without a phone line except for my PAYG mobile and it always costs an annoying amount.

Dont listen to a word this guy says. I have been with Empire for 10 years and never once have I even received goods the next day, even when you pay extra for a speedy delivery it never comes that quick. Its at least a weeks wait.
