Donald Trumps £1bn golf course in Aberdeenshire has been approved
Apparently going to be the best course in the world.
House prices are bound to plummet by 50% in the region now:p
it can only mean a good thing for Aberdeen - they'll probably attract much more investment that will need many more jobs in the area.0 -

I'm soooo dull.
Can't understand what adrock et al are on about - I have no idea at all who adrock is, or what I'm supposed to have said to him/her. Other than the comments on this thread, I have no 'feelings' about adrock or any of these other online entities.
I do, however, have strong feelings about house prices.
That's why I bother to post here and read here.
Others are welcome to disagree with my views.
If they do it sensibly, my respect for them increases and my views change - I've learnt a lot here.
If they post nonsense, expect to be cut down to size, by me or other posters; this is a public forum, after all, and people reading posts on a Money Saving site deserve to be 'saved' from posts that are going to encourage them to make extremely expensive mistakes.

Same here, pretty rapid but a few years old, park it anywhere - Great but not so good for the environmemt.
Trouble is they are trying to get at us with the new car tax.
We also have an old car - 11 years old, I think (R reg). It's a 1.6 litre Fiat, good fuel economy, has been very cheap to maintain (we've had it since it was 3 years old) and it works fine. Especially in WC1, no-one will ever nick it, as it's always the oldest and least valuable motor about (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Never had the least interest in cars - working is good, enough room to fit the 3 car seats and a reasonable boot is good.
Completely oblivious to car brands. Find the subject extraordinarily dull. No idea why people are interested in bits of metal that cost lots of money.
