hi smlsave.....had a quote last year and looking at up to about 4000, dependant really on doors chosen etc...we have to have brown frames on the outside as the rest of the road do...and we would really stick out with white ones even if they are slightly cheaper!!!!
you have a good balance between your op's and double glazing fund...it definitely feels better to be paying some off in op's but yes the majority into double glazing! so my new mission now will be to save for the double glazing and still pay the 20.00 cash off as op's a week...looking at finances i should be able to save 100.00 a week towards double glazing....but then there is CHRISTMAS to consider..which is only 7 weeks away..oh and my son's birthday 3 days before that total morg o/p's 2007/08 = £795;) total morg o/p's 2007/08 = £795;)
 mortgage o/p's Nov = £90- target :£100 pmonth :j
 double glazing = £300 -target :£3500 ????:rotfl:0

I think it's nice to stick with the style of the house/street. I'm going for brown outside too and with leading (just for the front). When we had our quotes I think it worked out bout £60 cheaper to go for white both sides, so not too much to worry over.
Everyone is talking bout Xmas now! Its nice but certainly gets the worry going. Will you do something special for your son's birthday?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
