I have no recourse of anything with the FOS against Firstplus though dreamer as Firstplus were only regulated by the FSA in 2005 and my loan was 2000 (not members of the GISC at the time) and my settlement 2003. I will win with the Lloyds one though cause it is worded correctly... ;) (just being optimistic!!)

By the way dreamer it is ME but you don't know who me is...lol

Finance companies that are registered with the FSA have to submit a montly audit of complaints, containing the reason for complaint and the outcome of said complaint, Now the FSA has a magic number as to how many complaints within a time period. This has obviously been risen since the mass approach to PPI complaints and the media coverage surrounding it.

However it is only a matter of time now before they act on all these FP complaints and hopefully we will see a record fine, which will of course open the floodgates for more payouts to the consumer.

    6 monthly, not monthly

I wish it was not true but looking at everyone on here and from experience its that way I am afraid.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Lilacpixie but if you are struggling financially then you could ask about the fast track system.

Hi, what they are offering is what you have already paid and there is no mention of the interest refunded when you cancel. As they say that they will redo the loan after you cancel what would happen to the remaining PPI AND the interest due on that.... would they put you back into the position as if you never had the PPI....

These are the questions you need to ask..;)

Hi marshallka, thanks for getting back to me. What would I have do now then? Sorry to be thick. Do I write again refusing this offer or speak to my local branch????

    Thanks.

I would ask them to actually clarify the redress offer better for you and ask them what happens to the rest of the PPI INLCUDING the interest due when they redo the loan. You have no need to sign anything yet or refuse anything without understanding what you are signing. We have all been there haven't we...;)
