What I am saying is that I have tracked staff at Firstplus visiting our servers and trawling through our forums.. so it is safe to assume that they are doing it here and on other forums.

I know we all love the social aspects of having a joint cause.. just be very careful as to what you post.. honestly guys/gals you can not assume invisibilty on the interenet.. you publish letters you have sent and replies and then go on to discuss your next plans.. if you were them, what would you do to limit your own risk.

Your posts and correspondence builds your profile, and from that they know who you are, and as I said know before you what the next letter is going to be and how you are going to argue.

They also know what other companies are doing and the responses they are getting, come on you dont think they are all sitting in a room talking to each other on how they will handle these issues.. of course not, and why should they.. they have all the ammo and research they need here on forums like this.
But even if they do know the next steps you are taking then there is nothing wrong in posting it as you are after justice only and the law should be bought into this. I have always thought that Firstplus and all other companies can post on here if they like to dig for information from customers with complaints but I have nothing to hide and I just hope that the FOS come on too and see that. I feel that I was unfairly rebated and its not my word against theirs either. Its fact and someone is responsible for it.

I do not say anything that I would not say to them in a letter. I know that I will carry this complaint to the grave (sooner than I think if I carry on like this!!) but it grieves me everyday that this company took so much money from us and still get away with it too.

I dont have a complaint against firstplus anymore as such as the Ombudsman has given me the correct place to take this to. Are they sending me on a wild goose chase too.:confused:

That claim was going on for a long time against another company (not FP), only concluded the other week.

FP are yet to experience the wrath yet. so far I have been nice to them, but its clear they hate me.
Why do you say that about hating you....

  • I tend not to let things go.. I have had 4 final responses for the same complaint and have around 12 other complaints outstanding..

Each complaint can be sent to the FOS

  • I have a ppi claim with Capital 1 ,first letter 10/11/08

Followed by a phone call in late November, not able to find my Account no trace that I was a customer!

I recieved a reply on the 24th November, usual fob off letter.
I sent further letter with a letter from the dr to say that I had a pre existing illness and also followed up with a
phonecall- to be told that this account does not exist,no
    record.

However today i recieved a letter offering £124.00. How does that happen when they cannot find my account.

I have not yet recieved my SAR.
What do you think should I refer this to FOS, I am inclined to report to the information officer.

    All letters were sent recorded.Thanks
SPC £500 well will try very hard.

    GC £6.16/£150

  • moonflower lol.. thats a new one.

Do you know how much the PPI was for,, if it was for the £124

then I would go back and ask them to include the 8% interest up until the date that they pay you out on.
