I don't really understand but I was told by the FOS that all insurers come under compulsory jurisdiction of the FOS and I wanted to know if Lloyds of London were in the old Insurance Ombudsman Scheme as I do not know what date they will take into account of this complaint as the policy was sold before Lloyds were authorised and ended in 2003
. I put my complaint date as 2003....

My hub has just asked me... What are we reclaiming for? the amount that was first advanced to the insurance company or the monthly payments we have made since we took it out? Also, would the monthly payments in future not include the 155 that we pay for the insurance? Im sorry to appear so dim but this is all very new to me.0

Hello Boo, originally it was PPI but the company were not regulated. But when I asked for the agreement to prove I requested it they said they didnt have one ,closed the account and defaulted me! So I rang the FOS as I was quite happy to pay the account and they shouldnt have defaulted me.
Wasnt that bothered about the result of the complaint until I read the " you refused £450 we cant get them to refund £27 charges !!!! I refused because I dont need a default ! I'd not get a default accepting charges back.. Its so wrong that they will not look into this.
