    Hi Marshallka,
How you feeling today. Di wasn't feeling too good yesterday.
It's no wonder you both are under the weather with the time you put in to helping people on this site as well as running a home.
You, Di and the rest of the people on this site are a godsend with the advice and support you give. You also give us a boost when we are feeling low.
Hope things go well today. Take care

Yeah, just read about Di. Hope she is OK;) . I have not spent as much time as I would like just lately cause of resting my shoulder and the desk is not the right place. Its actually a lot better today (nearly all movement back!!) but going for the x ray as this has happened so many times before. Can't really see the point now though.. (should have gone on Monday really)

Both Di and myself have hypertension so we are both prone to the BP. Its a horrible thing cause you don't exactly feel that you are not coping and then when you have it done it shows on the readings...My eye is still full of blood too. I have been on tabs since 30 and was only very young when it first showed up. I have a noduled kidney (which looks like a cloud on scan) which they say could be the cause of the BP thing and the spikes etc but it also runs in our family so they cannot be sure.

Di is teaching her son herself too so big changes can take it out of you and you just have to know when you have reached your limit I suppose.

Hope she is back today if not we know she is getting a good rest that IS needed.
  • Hi all...just after a bit of advice.

I have started a claim with HFC to see if I can get my PPI back. I sent them my first letter on 30th October 2008. It is now over the 8 weeks and I haven't got a reply from them. All I keep getting are letters telling me that they are looking into my complaint but they are yet to resolve it  .

As it is over the 8 weeks I was wondering if I should send my stage 2 letter in? Are they just trying to fob me off by telling me they are still looking into it? Or am I just being impatient by sending them another letter?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Pinkaddict

You could now go straight to the FOS is you wanted or what you could do is write them the second letter giving them seven days to reply, and tell them you are now going to the FOS unless you hear back within seven days.

In the meantime download forms from the FOS website to get them filled in ready. Always send recorded just to make sure they receive it.

    Good luck.:D

Thanks alot. I'll get me 2nd letter done then and hopefully I'll have more joy this time. They really don't like giving money back these companies do they!!

No they do not. I think they rely on the fact that most people at this point would be put off and not bother to take it further. It is only web sites like this that give us the confidence to take it further. Let us know how you get on.:D
