If you have the paperwork then there is no harm in trying this.

Just take a look at the link here and see what you can add and delete from the template letter. Its always best to do your own from this. There are lots of reason on there for the misselling so pick out the ones that are applicable to yours.

You then write to the firm that actually made the sale of the PPI to you if this is different from the lender and don't forget to send this recorded delivery so you always a proof and dates etc.

After that you have to give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. In this time it is usual to get a response of "sorry we sold this to you fairly" but you then respond to this and reiterate your complaint again. The next time they write they either give you a final response which you would need in order to take this complaint to the FOS (if you can?????) or offer to settle.

    Good luck
Thanks for your reply. I've just been having a good look through the paperwork, and although the loan application was in joint names, the PPI only covered my husband for both Lloyds TSB and Cheshire BS . Will this strengthen our case any?

Its often the main earner that is covered for the PPI but it can be frowned upon by FOS sometimes that both are actually liable for the loan to pay the PPI.

Its wall papered now but still no fire, just a big hole where one should go.. . I must admit though it is looking good but I painted the walls today and it used to be matt and I thought I'd bought matt again but its silk and I really don't like it. It took me all day and cannot be ar*ed to do it all again with the way I feel so just have to live with it. I just want my use of my arm back. I think with painting with my left hand for two days my right shoulder has gone dead and will not come back to life again.

Got no internet tomorrow and I want to get back to my unfair rebate claim so I will have to suss all the wiring myself to get back online. We have to unplug everything again cause of glossing etc. I just hope Lloyds get back with their response and then I will have to see where to go from there. I think its back in the queue as they told me its a completely different complaint. Its so unfair having to keep going back to the back of the queue. I am going to ask if they can take it from when I wrote to them first.

Glad its nearly finished. Have you tried ibu gel I used it when I locked my neck and shoulder it was really good.

Hospital on tuesday then 6 weeks for results

I would ask about carrying on where they left off as you should not have to go to the back of the queue again.
