  • Good evening everyone, looking for a little advice please. I took out a loan with GE Money through Loans.co.uk. I have written to loans.co.uk and was told to write to GE Money, which I did. Only to be told the same write back to loan.co.uk. What do I do? Broker or lender?
Happy new year to you all.

Glad you are having fun Di...;) . I also need to email the FOS I think or maybe better to wait for the final response from my insurer (Lloyds!!) as they said I would get one within 14 days of the other letter dated about 23rd December. Maybe better to wait to then.. . When FOS wrote to me though they gave me to the 6th Jan to get back to them otherwise they would close my complaint with FIrstplus so maybe I ought to keep that one open somehow as I think it will go back to them anyway.

God this is all so confusing.

Yeah it has been fun, now they want to play "guess who" lol, so will leave Jamie and Daniel to that one, even though he is 20 he will still play this game and to keep Daniel happy :j :D . This game we had years ago, think its been updated now though.;)

Yes its a very confusing, I think I have until early Jan, but I also explained I was waiting for documents to find out who to send the details too, but because they have already tried them, I just don't want to waste any more time with these if they say HFC again....

Its always the person that actually sold the PPI and that would be the broker loan.co.uk;)

Get back to them and if they send a final response or if its already 8 weeks since you first wrote to loans.co.uk then tell the FOS.
