Sorry to disappear earlier folks, my mum rang and was concerned about my dad's breathing as he's oxygen dependent/concentrator etc, so had to go and check him out, and all is okay now, he also has a health worker who comes out to check him as well, unfortunately he is not a well man, and haven't been so since his early 40's he was diagnosed with dementia as well when he was 60 alongside with other health problems at that earlier age....., but I do feel happier knowing he is more at ease now.;)

Will catch up with posts over the weekend, also thanks for the lovely comment AC and Maxdp.;) :A x

yeah thats me, i said i could help, i know all the ways that it was pushed on people, all the errors companies made and retrospectively changed their compliance procedures, sales that are deemed un-enforcable due to certain criteria not disclosed.

Trust me i have seen it all, and come out the other side better. Just let me assist and please leave the personal differences at the gate.
This is about my rebate and its now with Lloyds apparently as the Ombudsman has written today to say they have written to them on my behalf. I do feel hard done to as I borrowed £17K and had PPI applied of £4163, repaid them £11K back and still owed £20500 at settlement and PPI rebate was £90 although the PPI cost us the £4163 plus all the interest too.

sorry to hear about your dad, puts our probs in perspective. Hope he gets better soon.

    Thank you.;)
Yes its does put all other problems in perspective, as both parents are disabled between us all in the family we try to mingle in as much as we can, but luckily they have some health workers on hand as well.;)
    Cheers.;)

    Hi Di

Am sorry to hear about dad. You really seem to have a lot on your plate at the moment:confused:

    Hiya Maxdp.

Thanks hunni, and yes it does seem lot to tend with, but I suppose we're used to it really, as its been an ongoing thing since his 39th birthday, I will never forget that, and from then on its guaranteed he'd be in hospital every other month with that many health problems, he had encephalitis caused by when his appendix burst, the first doctor came out and said it was a water infection, my dad looked green, then it all stemmed from there with a number of other stuff, emphysema from working down the coal mines, then diagnosed with prostrate cancer while both my mum and younger sister going through this with breast cancer and so on. In fact it was exactly 3 months between them all of being diagnosed with this awful bit C.

The poor guy on his repeat prescription there are 24 items of meds he has to take....... numbered as they do from 1 to 24...., this is why a nurse and health professions go to him now to try to keep him out of hospital.

Other than that he puts on a brave face and tries to carry on as much as he can, although he is attached to the oxygen concentrator most of the time.

The hospital call him Super man lol, he has been brought back about 4 times now, the last one was his heart attack last year, he had this at home and mum brought him back and with the hard work from the hospital staff they have been amazing, but know him like a book now lol.;)

Sorry to hear that Marshallka and Di. It does make things very difficult this time of year especially, I suppose cause it is time for families.

I still lay a place for my grandad every christmas at the dinner table and put his last christmas card he sent me on the table. He died in 1991.

Do you remember me telling you that a very dear colleague had died recently. We are going to the funeral on Monday. He was very popular so lots of people are going.

Anyway Christmas tree is at a funny angle again think I will have to put scaffold around it.:rotfl:
