Did they mention anything about the Financial Ombudsman on the first letter or giving you that chance to write to them again ?

They told me the answer was no, and if i didnt contact them again within 4 weeks then they would take it as matter closed.

Well that dosent make it any clearer, but I believe you can put it against your tax code and pay nothing.
Yeah I could do either as I have not used it this year and its always the year in which the interest is paid..;)

Thanks for supporting me Pinknico ;)

How long has it been now since you first complained...

You need to send them another letter reiterating your complaint and ask them for a final response.

Hmmmmmm them.......   , I know how you feel then hun.

The next letter then should mention the FOS, as soon as you receive that and if unsuccessful again then get on to the FOS right away from there.;)

If you require the FOS details let me know, as these are found on the FOS website with forms you can download or you could contact the FOS who will be happy to post them to you, and as I mentioned earlier as soon as you receive the "final response" enclose a copy of that with the complaint form as the FOS would want to see a copy of this to make sure it was that of a final decision.;)
