Have you written to Sterling Insurance as if they sold the policy then you need to make the complaint to them.

Sterling was also linked with Endeavour as I remember having some of their paperwork as well...... , confusing this company as they are also part of Beneficial Finance, HSBC and HFC, I have the main of them on the small print of the EPF paperwork.

Don't want to confuse anyone though, as its best to always stick to that actual company who sold the loan for mis selling.;)

    hi all,
not been on for a while been busy, this is a list of crap had of blackhorse.
47 days from first letter sent asking for all documents of accounts held past & present.
    16th oct 1st letter sent.
22nd oct recieved reply denying any mis-selling,no mention of documents.
24th oct sent letter not happy with decison, asked again about documents.no reply.
12th nov sent letter of disappointment over no response to previous letters & no documents being sent.
12th nov also sent SAR to local branch trying to get all documentation held, £10 cheque enclosed.
17th nov recieved phone call from blackhorse local branch, lady named derris saying they had not recieved 1st letter requesting documents, & the proof of delivery signature was none of there employee's. she was ringing about SAR & there was no charge for this request & would send our cheque back. i questioned this,to be told all documents would be with me with in 14 days.
21st nov recieved a response letter to the letter sent 24 oct in absence of any evidence in support of the claim, their decision remains unchanged.FINAL RESPONSE. no mention of any documents.
27TH nov sent letter of disapointment of blackhorse, how could they give a final response, when no documentation had been recieved or ever mentioned.
2nd dec i phoned local branch asking for derris, was told she was only there a few days & had done nothing, i didn't believe a word of it previous conversation with her was not like somebody there for a few days. i asked for documentation held, there reply we cant do anything litigation have your records, i said all documentation before existing loans had nothing to do with litigation & your breaking the law, didn't answer this, he said i will put you through to liigation. i was transferred & cut off.
i phoned complaints had a go, to be told i had not sent request to right office, i asked why my requests had not been past on internally, & told we dont do that, asked why this information was being withheld for 47 days no reply.
    COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATION DEP
    BLACKHORSE LTD
    HOLBROOK HOUSE
    116 COCKFOSTERS ROAD
    BARNET
    EN4 0DY
I have had the total run around of this company, not once was this address mentioed in reply or phone conversation.
    sent complaint to ICO/FLA/FSA
was in court yesterday over being behind on payments to existing loan with blackhorse, they didnt even turn up it was ajourned, the judge was peed off & said they can apply no more charges to my account.
spoke to citizens advice, she told me they were flooded with complaints about blackhorse, & to make an appiontment with here to sort out all my problems.
im not giving up its fired me up, so if anyone new thinks it can be easy going thats not always the case, so don't be put off.

Yep I agree, enough is enough now......:D .

Will be good to hear when the old steel plant re-opens, as its bought by a new buyer, he is on top of the list to return - can't wait !
He was so happy there, and loved his job, in fact he lived at work then, I could not keep him home lol....:j .

I know I should not say it but benefits are not for everyone, we do not likw claiming from them but its a matter of not having that choice.....its always hassle, its nice to know there is a full time income coming in every week or month, we know where we are each time.;)

Good luck for tomorrow Marshallka ;) , you too dreamer ;) , thinking of you both.:A

Dreamer forgot to mention earlier sorry, hubby and the other ex workers are still waiting for the compo, they are behind and it could be after xmas now......

No, they don't know our circumstances and they are not stating that. They are stating its up to me to let HMRC know and hand over the 20%. I have emailed the adjudicator about this and he has stated it is the normal on ALL statutory interest. I know that this year I have not used up my allowances but if I had and not found the statement from HMRC leaflet then I would have to pay. Its far too risky with HMRC. They find out everything, I used to work in accounts and I know. You then would be lumbered with a hefty fine and interest on top.
