If the letter you have in your hand says goodwill then no tax should be paid.
Even so you have not paid any tax so entitled to earn over £5000 before you do.
I just want to know why coop put this in your letter and not others.DS1 12/10/04

So sorry to hear that, even though they should know this but tell them its affecting you financially and its very distressing, and the way its going it could possibly take you into arrears, just a suggestion, but its such a long time you have been waiting, and hold-up wise I only know they are over-run with these complaints, but it can be so annoying, one of my complaints with the FOS had taken 14 months from start to finish but that is with being paid out.
Have you actually asked them what the delay is hun?
Whether or not they will confirm this I do not know, but I do really feel for you waiting all this long.
I would be emailing them every other day if waiting this long, sometimes we have to keep on at them, I know our Marshallka would say the same too.
Hopefully if someone knows what the delay is they will post up, but all I know is that its due to high numbers of these complaints, - yet they supposed to have had taken on new adjudicators the last few months......
Keep at them hun and please let us know, thanks and fingers crossed for you.

Just recieved a response from FOS after I emailed them and asked for them to try and fast track my complaints and they have said that they have sent them to a team that decides whether to fast trak for adjudication or not. They said that I should hear in the next two weeks. I won't hold my breath.0 -

Co-operative Bank has now told us it would be prepared to pay the following redress for each policy in full and final settlement of your complaint as a goodwill gesture:0 -

Hi All
You may remember a while back I posted for some advice on reclaiming PPI from Egg. Well I followed the standard procedure and sent the letter.Of course they replied with the 8 week response. Well I expect the 8 weeks is coming to an end but havent heard anything from them - so today I checked my loan account online and it has reduced from just over £9000 at the end of october to just under £3000 now :j .... I'm almost too nervous to think its true. I want to have the letter in my hand to confirm everything.....
thanks to all of you for your good advice... it (ooks like it has paid off for me-quite literally!!
Well done hunni :T :T , all in time for Christmas then hopefully;.
