Di, tiggrae is so wrong in her calculations and we have all listened to her. I hope that someone else on here can also see that. She only ever worked out the cost of the PPI and never ever took the calculations of the settlement into account. I have learn't here to just be careful who you trust. I suppose she did this for a living and not for free.

You have to be able to work out the actual settlement figure with the PPI and without the PPI too.

I still not got round to giving the figures to the liquidators either, I have to try and find the info on the breakdown as they will need this paperwork for evidence...... .

Marshallka I have send ya a PM hun.;)

This was what tiggrae did for may calculations for the 2002 loan

these figures are a bit rough - but I worked out the ppi element was about 24% of the total - therefore 24% of £14112 (168 x 84) = £3386.88
you paid approximately 18 payments of £40.32 (24% of 168) which totalled £766.08

    so 3386 - 766.08 - the rebate of 1461.93 = £1158.15
    therefore you paid 766.08 + 1158.15 = 1924.23 - the statutory interest against all that comes to 681.63 - totalling £2605.86

I actually have been offered £1462.00 so I actually think that the calculations of the co-op are right and tiggrae has been working these out wrong. Again the difference is about £462.23 here.:confused:[/font]

Does this calculate what amount you are due back on mis sold ppi or just the settlement figure on loans paid back early?

This calculation was one that tiggrae did for me in that she said I would receive back in the misselling of the PPI. She is so far out on this though as although she knows how to calculate what you would have paid on the PPI and takes the rebate off she forgets that in the settlement figure you have a rebate against the PPI interest. Its so unfair how she has led people to believe they are getting these higher amounts back when she must have known (being a claims management company!!) that these are the amounts less whatever was in the settlement calculation for the interest that would have been charged on the PPI.
