    With pleasure Robbie.;)

Unfortunately I have some awkward ones, one with the FSCS (Compensation scheme) as the company Twopart/Eloan went into liquidation earlier this year, another was out of jurisdiction but going about it in a different way which is the unfair rebate, so this is being dealt with by the lenders bank where my complaint lies with them right now, so will have to wait and see.;)

Will all be worth it in the end hopefully!!

Masmit - how are you getting on with Blackhorse?
  • Letter sent on 17th, received letter today dated 19th saying they are looking into my complaint. Hoping Halifax will be nice to me for once even if the money goes towards the loan as I have defaulted on it (making payments through DMP)

    Loan Amount: £6000
    Interest: £1353.12
    Insurance: £1175.80
    Interest: £265.16
    Total Credit: £7175.80
    Outstanding Loan Amount: £3182.25

I'm contemplating making a PPI reclaim with HSBC however before I begin I was wondering if this would compromise any loans that I may request from HSBC in the future?

    Thanks

    hi there,

Don't know if you remember but i sent three letters to the Halifax re my Loans, Just had a letter through on one loan to say although their not taking responsibility they have decided to refund me a figure to put me in the position that i have not taken out the ppi.

No figures mentioned as yet. Also i don't reconise the account number but then two of the loans were quite old and i didn't have the paper work for them :T.

We have had a good two weeks and long may it continue.
Daniels pead is rushing our son's reports so really happy, Refund from the electric company and £100 from Halifax for a old morgage end fee. Plus Mrs won a compitition from the comp board so a great two weeks for us.

Thankyou all for your advise and support
Just waiting for the SAR report now
    Thanks

Hi all hope all's good. Don't know what to do:confused:. So far i've got 3 letters form halifax. one to say they have decided to refund me ppi on one old loan, one to say they are looking in to a current loan and one to say thay are looking in to my sar report.
I posted two letters on the 27/10/08 about two old loads, one i've heard back about (see above) one i've heard nothing. do i ring halifax? thing is untill i get the sar report back i don't have any info about these loans(apart from dates and addresses)!I don't like ringing banks with out good info( I don't even know which loan ppi they are going to refund!). Sorry just feel like a 5 year old waiting for xmas hehe:o Harts telling me to ring, heads saying to wait for the SAR.

    thanks for looking mr mac

A tricky question here but in theory it should not as this could be thought of as retaliatory action and the FSA could get involved under the terms of Principal 6 of its remit, that companies must treat their customers fairly.

I would perhaps ring and ask what loan they are refunding on and also you can request copies of the agreements under section 77/78 of the CCA which may be quicker than waiting for the sar. The copy agreements have to be sent out in 12 days and all you do is write and enclose £1 for them. I would just state in the letter that you require the agreements of ANY loans you have taken out with them. Don't forget to send it recorded delivery.
