after fos were advised last wednesday that m and S money would be requesting my case should go to an ombudsman for a final decision (18months after 1st complaining to them!) they have today advised that they are now accepting the adjudicants decision and my case has been upheld.

I do not know why the have changed their mind but I am delighted they did....

Massive thanks to Tiggrae/Di and Marshalka for all the help and mutual support given over the last 18 months.

I have to say i am so proud of myself for doing this alone (other than forum support) and would say to others...If I can do it, so can you!!!

I will update the site with full details when I have them..

    huge thanks

    Fifi

Now on to Egg....lets see what they are made of !!:j :j :j
    Congratulations to you:beer: :j  HAPPY CHRISTMAS:T

    Hi All

    Hope you all ok

Marshallka your figures and letters were good. Fingers crossed they will just pay out what is owed to you. I am going to write my letter tomorrow so fingers crossed.

You asked me about why a refinanced loan would be different that a stand alone loan.

The amount you are now claiming back (PPI) for the first loan say. 1,500 although you are now getting that back when you refinanced to the second loan that 1,500 would have been included in the figures for the second loan. So not only are you including the PPI from the first loan but also interest on that and the PPI you have taken out on the second loan will be more because you have the PPI plus interest from the first loan. Do you see what I mean. Although you are claiming it back now you have paid for that in the second loan.

    Does that make sense.

It does but how much of the second loan did you get in cash??? I do sort of understand this but cannot do the calculations myself... I suppose tiggrae did them for you - if she did not I could try and have a look but i doubt they would be right..:o .

Had some bloods back on friday apparently and they want me to go in on 5th December, there is a letter in the post:confused: . She had told me a telephone consultation but Mrs Impatient here rang today for whatever have come back and I was told that she wants to see me to discuss the results and there is a letter in the post so made my appointment already... I said to receptionist that obviously something else if amiss and she said Doctor will discuss this with you... .

Thoughts please maxdp...:confused: . In private though...cos this is not a medical board...lol

    Marshallka

Tiggrae did not work them out for me cause she could not. She was as confused as me.

What they need to do for me and I have asked is take the three loans and work out what I would have paid without the PPI then how much I actually paid then pay the difference plus stat int. etc. Do you see what I mean if you take out 5 loans that are all re financed the PPI on the first loan affects the next four loans cause you have all the interest etc carried on to the next four. the second loand which was influenced by the first loan then affects the next three along with the first loan and it builds up.

I used to tie a scarf around my head on the temples. It works Di and also the forehead strips are good too. My daughter uses them for migraine...;)
