In case I got you confused in my last post above.
Ring or write to the department who sent you the SAR, tell them you now have your SAR but no copy of the agreement was enclosed, ask them if they could provide this to you, although there is little chance of receiving the agreement as 6 years have gone by as they only hold records normally for 6 years in general.
However, ask them if there is any chance that they have anything kept on microfiche just in case.
Then ask them for a copy of the written breakdown of calculations.
Also tell them you would appreciate to receive these within 12 days from the date or your request. It is normally 12 days to request for just an agreement normally, something like that.
If you write a letter, do this by recorded post.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Good luck Robbie, keep us posted hun.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0

Hi newbie here!! i have sent my letter to A & L end of Oct took my loan over internet Aug '06, i did a quote for comparisson with & without PPI , i took without PPI but when they sent the paperwork it had a box to tick for PPI which i did not touch sent paperwork , only to receive it back asking me to sign here so i did thinking i had miss-signing for the loan!!, the loan was for £10,000 over 60 months at 6.7% payments are 278 per month which works out at £16739, i am not sure how much of this is PPI i have tried working this out at £477 total cost of PPI, with £2385 total cost with interest (off a ppi calculator CAG website)
so what i am asking did i take out PPI i am convince i have when i initally rejected but i need my maths checking!!0 -
Yes will do. Think I might need lots of luck, going by their reputation!0

If it was signed on line you can view it on line I believe. I have just sent mine to the FOS as I did not request this but they say I did.
What year was this?
I'm currently awaiting a FOS response to my claim. I phoned the day prior to getting a loan from Egg and was verbally advised to tick the PPI section as it would enhance my chances of being accepted!!
SURPRISE SURPRISE Egg can't find the conversation due to it being 'inaudible'.
Will let you know how i get on.0 -

As you were paying £278 per month it looks like you were charged £81.40 per month in PPI:eek: totalling £4884 with the interest.

I think it closed 2001, I realise I'm cutting it fine but thought maybe worth a try!
Yes I am regretting walking out on Gary and the boys especially now!0
