In my above post I mentioned about an SAR (Subject Access request), they have 40 days to comply, post by recorded delivery, and they must supply everything they have on you on that account.
There is a charge of £10 cheque or postal order payment.

Still continue with the reclaim/complaint letter and good luck, here is the sAR, however there is also another template on this thread on some of the pages, its up to you which one you use.

No hun, its the ones who arranged the loan is the firm you write to complain to, if you write to endeavour about the mis selling they will also tell you it will be that of the broker who you contact, so to save time, write to freedom finance.;)

You can write and request the old agreements from them. You may be asked for £1 to do this though so make a cheque/postal order for them. They have to provide them in 12 days too. Also send it recorded delivery too.

I am confused as to your reasons for "getting it back though".? Are you saying these were missold to you and for what reasons.

In all of my loans I was sold a single premium loan policy, What type of letter should i send to get all my loan agreements back?

    Thanks Richard
  • Hi,
we have tried to reclaim PPI missold (due to not one but 4(!) reasons) from our loan with first plus. Because we got the first plus loan through freedom finance, first plus told us it was freedom finance we had to pursue. However we have now discovered that freedom finance are called 'bespoke' and they claim its nothing to do with them (and bespoke are conveniently holed-up in gibraltar) and bespoke even sent us a letter saying the financial ombusman couldn't do anything as we took out the loan august 2003 (8 weeks before this sort of thing was 'covered' by the FO they claim). Please note we remortgaged and paid off first plus 2007 so no longer have that 'problem' but feel pretty annoyed that £15K of PPI was mis-sold to us.
Does anyone know if we have any chance of getting this PPI back or should we just knock the idea on the head.
