Is it possible to reclaim PPI if a loan was taken out more than 6 years ago of which I am still paying for via a debt collection agency....
Also i asked a different loan company from the above case for a copy of my terms and agreement some 3 months ago and have not received a response.....what should I do....0 -
WOW - Was posting on page midnight last night, now page 13 already!
PPI sellers should really be quite scared of these forums!! I hope they are!!0 -

Do you think cause they were refinanced it should cover them cause the first one would influence the last one. Know my Barclaycard Loan was 2002 2004 2004 and the FOS looked at those
I don't know how this would work with Blackhorse though... that is how I got mine through..
Barlcays would also be part of the old Banking ombudsman scheme too.0 -

They should send you a copy of the agreement (and should still have the paperwork too??) as the loan is still active within 6 years. Send another letter by recorded delivery and £1 too and quote sections 77 and 78 of the CCA. It is your right.0 -
Hi
As you may remember I'm trying to claim back the ppi from Halifax on a couple of old loans. I've sent off first letters but didn't have account numbers.
I rang Halifax and asked for the loan agreements, Only to be told to write a letter. Bless them they have replied in a couple of days. I got a letter back saying they can't help me (even though I have put all the addresses i have moved to as asked). The letter i've got back from them is asking for my agreement numbers or a contact nameplus a customer name and address which they have got.
Are they just stalling me or playing hard to get?
I am thinking to send a SAR and paying £10 and getting all the info i need.
Just wanted you thoughts on this
Thanks for any help

Hi Marshallka
Do not know how that works then cause mine were 1999 ignored 2002 2004 and 2004 (well not mine OH) and the FOS have considered all these. So am confused. I know you say that what Tiggrae said but all mine have been looked at. When FOS Upheld they did not know that they were all refinanced Loans and they still uphelp these. Another conundrum me thinks:rolleyes::mad:0 -
I wonder if anyone can help me. I am confused with reclaiming / PPI., but came across something on the net and thought 'thats me'. I'm employed by NHS and have found an article on the net relating to a nursing asst.
who claimed almost 1900 back.... as she took out critical illness cover with her mortgage 4 years ago... and realised that as she was adequately covered by her employer the nhs, and was advised to take this cover out, even thought she did not need it..... she was missold this. Is this right and would I be able to claim.. my circumstances are exactly the same.. but live cover and critical illness is together and i am paying nearly 39.00 per month for this?? thank you for your help.0
