Okay lovely people I need your expertise.
Have cancelled PPI policy with Picture and know my rebate will be rubbish, Had the policy for a year ,cost £19000 rebate £2500. Who do I complain to? is it the insurer?
According to what me and Di have been told about our unfair rebates we had to complain to the insurer direct...we originally sent our complaints to the FOS against the lender as tiggrae advised but since both of us had confirmations from FOS that unfair rebates are against the insurer and not the lender...

Hopefully like I say you will get this sorted out x

Not heard from ff yet think they said hope to respond by 2 dec if not before. The way I'm sending letters to them they'll be on foreva. lol Managed to catch one post tomo367? but could not read others would not let me go onto the next page was there anymore about ff.

You won your co-op one didn't you? Where have fp passed it on to.
I have won with co-op on two loans but there are another two to go. Hopefully they will redress them now I have the paperwork for them.

As regards FP, I complained to the FOS about unfair rebate and FOS have told me that this complaint actually lies with the insurer and not the lender. I have now got to wait for the FOS to write to the insurer (when firstplus tell them exactly who my insurer is!!) and get a final response from them and then FOS will definately look into the complaint as the insurers mostly come under compulsory jursidiction.

I am complaining about a UTCCR.

Got letter from FOS today. It says "I am now able to confirm that the next letter we send you will be from the team manager who will be responsible for dealing with your case"

Does that mean the adjudicator do you think?

    Hi

You can fast track but I think you have to send proof that you are in financial difficulty. Di or Marshallka should be able to tell you what you need to do.

  • Hi - wondering if anyone has had any success with Egg when reclaiming PPI? I'm not aware of too many people having sought to recover these monies from them.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
