Thanks, and one last thing. This is really bad but I don`t think that I even have the loan account numbers! Should I just give them my date of birth and address from the time????

Give them just your name, address they should be able to locate the info.

Yes, make sure you send everything recorded and state your new addy in large writing too otherwise they will reply to the old one perhaps..

Great Di thanks. I am in arrears to them at the mo, paying that off on Wednesday and firing them off letter one then. I suspect as I was a student I wouldnt be covered....although this was NEVER explained in store and GE have also been fined already for misselling. Fingers, toes and eyes crsossed :-)
