Aww bless him.;) I will keep everything crossed for you.

As well as Aspergers Daniel also suffers anxiety, but he gets his good days, he has never been the one for cuddles though.

Please keep posting to let me know how this goes, if you don't mind, thanks hun.:A ;) xx

    Morning ;)

Final response regarding my PPI claim just dropped through my letterbox, inside was acceptance that the policy was probably not sold in my best interest and as a gesture of good faith they will refund the total amount plus 8% which equates to £2k+ (yippekaiyay mother hubbard!).

However as the loan is still active they're offering to reduce the current balance only, is this my only option?

I'll try to make that my last question, I'm just so pleased. :money:

Really want to give a huge thank you to all the helpful people on this thread. Was such a great inspiration, and regardless to whether I get the money in my hand or taken off the existing balance - i'm still over 2 thousand pounds better off. :D
Awesome work everyone and especially Martin as the catalyst of this consumer revolution in giving some power back to the people.

  • Hello
Thank you for informing us of this scam.

I have just received letters from the store cards people who I wrote to asking for my insurance payments to be refunded and they have agreed to refund them and sent figures.
My question is how do they refund them do they put it back onto the store card or do they send me a cheque as they have not said in the letters.
    Thanks again

Wow well done and congratulations.......:T  :j .

Now to my knowledge I did think it was a matter of choice how you wanted this money back, but as its a goodwill gesture the matter may be different, I am not too certain there, because if mis sold they should not have done that in the first place, you can make your own choice.
If you wanted to money back directly to you, there is no harm in requesting this and see what they say.;)

Again well done:T , did this one take long?

    Hi Karen.;)

I would contact them and ask them, I think this would be your choice, if they mis sold and have agreed to this then I take it the ball is in your court.

How would you want this paid back hun?
