PPI Reclaiming discussion Part III

Not been on for a while but got refered to "protective investments" based in leicestershire with my eight claims, hadn't heard from them for a while so I rang up only to find that another company seem to have taken them over.

I rang the company and asked whether or not my details would have been transferred over. STill waiting for a reply all that hard work since July 2008 may be in vain.

Not a problem - anytime.;)

I know the volumes of these complaints are getting higher every year....:eek: , what I do is send them an email now and again, because the last letter my husband received was in September 2008 to say it was still in the waiting system, they have confirmed it should be moved on now as soon as possible, hopefully yours is in the same batch or will be moved on sooner as you've waited long enough already, after sending them stacks of emails.....

Just for me to make sure this is correct now, you have 8 claims your still waiting to hear from?
So this is regarding mis sold PPI then I take it?

And no letter to inform you either of them stopped running.....:eek: , and you only found out by ringing them ?

Its just a thought, but why don't you ask if the FOS (financial ombudsman service) do this for you, you can request they send the details for you and they will check what company should be dealing with your complaints, its worth a call and see what they say.

Explain your situation as you did above, they may suggest you send in your details and they will do this on your behalf.

Did HFC email you back to say they've received nothing or have you not heard from them at all ?

Right what you mean is send this off by attachment to the email address of HFC?
Then the payment must be paid....... , make sure they confirm they received this and tell them the payment is on its way and you understand that they will not be able to send you the SAR until the payment of £10 is received, or another way is you can ring the payment in, but you need to make sure they admit to receiving your request first.

Tell them you've waited long enough now....

Anything you don't receive that your entitled to especially if its documents over the last 6 years.

Could you confirm what is in the questionaire please?
It maybe one of those questionaires that everyone who claims for being mis sold are given these to complete, but not everyone fill them, they just attach a letter to the form to tell them they know everything from the beginning of the application.
That's if its the same form, where I believe they use these for stalling tactics.

Allocation questionnaire is a court form also known as N150

I have had no correspondence from b.c apart from 1st letter on 10/07/2008 when they generously gave me an account with the start balance of £7988.92!!! letter is in bold formal demand.
saying the ppi had been cancelled.

I tried to call them - refussed to speak with me as my details do not matchthe information on this account "they quote data protection
I wrote sending £2.00 because they gave me two accounts in total both req cca- no response
They then sold this information onto a third party without informing-
20 nov i open post and received a ccj which i have defended.
when i spoke with cl finance who b.card sold to they were not interessted only want money! said I had a house had i not considered rasing monies from this.

Arh I see, well hopefully regarding that questionaire someone will post on this at some point today to give some helpful info/advice about this, sorry I have never dealt with those questionaires before.


I see what your saying here and I hope this is resolved soon.

I note you have sent requests for your CCA and no joy with that, now what about a Subject access request ? (SAR) they MUST comply within 40 days and send everything they have on your account(s), but this is a little more dearer at the charge of £10 cheque or postal order payment, if you require the full letter template for this, post up where one of us will post this up for you.;)

THE RECLAIM ON PPI LAST OCT THAT I WON WAS WITH HFC ALSO KNOWN AS HOUSEHOLD BANK & BENEFICIAL FINANCE AND AS I SAID THEY PAID OUT WITHIN 5 WEEKS INCLUDING INTEREST.

I DO HAVE ANOTHER PPI CLAIM THAT IS WITH FOS AGAINST BARCLAYS ON MY LITTLEWOODS CARD, BUT THIS HAS BEEN WITH FOS FOR 5 MONTHS NOW AND THEY ADV ME CLD TAKE ANOTHER 2 MONTHS FOR IT TO GO TO AN ADJUDICATOR i

I THINK I WILL SEND STAGE 2 LETTER TO HFC AS SHOULD NOT TAKE 9 WEEKS FO R THEM TO GET THE PAPERWORK FROM THE BRANCH NOW SHOULD IT:mad:
