Picture was the lender for the loan and the broker for the insurance

    oh I see....
I know this one (Picture) have been under investigation for a very long time now with the FSCS haven't they ?
Wonder why its taking so long?

Twopart are not even mentioned on their list.

Going by the letter which you would have received as well with the forms, they said approx 6 months didn't they, but its been over that now since we both sent the forms back.... , it wouldn't be too bad if they sent us updates now and again.
I know a lot of things have gone on with other companies etc....so lets hope we hear something soon, especially yours Pinknico, mine is not actually for a great deal of money on this one.

Nope found out today that the builders did not even wire the emmersion.   Apparently they made the decision not to wire it up. So I called everbody and then consumer direct.

In a new house you are only guaranteed for boiler heating 2yrs and 2yrs is up and they would not help us. I was livid.

Consumer direct told me that I am covered under the Supply of Goods Act and that goods purchased should be fit for there purpose.

I sent an email to the builders stating my annoyance and quoted the supply of goods act.

I have gave them the opportunity to come and fix it free of charge asap or I will take it further and go to my local newspaper.

They are looking into it and have called me back tonight to keep me updated.

They are giving us good builders a bad name:eek:

My boilers ace and my showers very hot:rotfl:
