hehe No, it was a little 106 for definate! A beast.
I've had around 30 different VW's, the non-turbo diesel golfs were the most reliable, then the mk2 gti's. The newer VW's i dont really rate, they've lost everything that was good about them. (Apart from the Lupo which is a brilliant little car)
As for picasso's make sure any you may go to look at have been recalled as they had a computer fault that caused all sorts of problems. My uncle has had two, the one he has currently is 2 years old and used to cut out all the time until it was recalled.0 -

Eeewww a berlingo no thanks
I like the picasso too i just feel its bigger than a scenic and i'm trying to go smaller iyswim,
Atm i'm driving a Nissan Serena and its just too big and guzzles petrol which doesn't help.
Anymore suggestions greatly received around the 2k mark i need 3 seat belts in the back and preferably 3 seats like the scenic for the boosters.:D0 -
Citroen picassos are one of the most economical cars out there, mate who taxi's a 2.0 diesel gets around 50 mpg, if it's normal use 55 odd mpg isnt unheard of on a run, petrols arent so bad either 'parkers.co.uk give figures of 37 mpg from the 1.6 http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=141&page=3 , renaults arent great for fuel economy from personal experience0
