Thanks for replying but cannot test properly without scart splitter. Did sort of test the Tesco one yesterday, but did not have extensions/scart splitter to properly test. Will not be able to get to a decent tesco until the weekend. Spoilheap what does local QD stand for? Is it only local to you?

If I manage to test I will post which one I think is the better.

  • most supermarkets, pound / bargain shops will sell scart splitters

I went in 2 pound shops (neither had them), Woolies (far too expensive), local Tesco (did not have) and Wilkinson today. The cheapest I could find was in Wilkinson for £5.99.   I am holding out for a cheaper one.  I live in Manchester so if anyone can suggest anywhere cheaper it would be appreciated.

I'd love one of these but don't they mess-up wireless 802.11b/g networks?

On the currys ones can you change the sky channel with a remote control on the reciever on a 2nd tv??

The other way around really. Wireless networks can interfere with the reception. Microwaves mash it good style!
  • I got a great set from Maplin about six months ago in their Sale.

I also have Wireless broadband throughout the house

Both live together in perfect harmony !!

My model is GIGA AIR 2424

The one in the e-bay ad above is a GIGA AIR 2323
we don't yet have confirmation of whether the Matsui model at Dixons is a rebadged 2323 or something different

Although Maplin is a bit more expensive than either Dixons or Tesco these do come with my personal recommendation.... :D

    £39.99 for sender/receiver
£24.99 for additional receivers (I have three receivers working off one sender)

I paid less than current prices becuase of money -off coupons ... I think I paid £29.99 and £19.99
