thanks for the link Helen. but did you ask for 'other assistance'?

i only ask because i want to complain about a delivery being put back twice, once to boxing day till january, and the same one to possibly february now, but i wasn't sure which option to choose, apart from all of them ;)

    thanks
I cant remember which one i chose, but if you complain enough they should compensate you, maybe :rudolf:

thanks Helen  i'm not after compen as such, but after leading me a merry dance, over a jamie oliver book  i'm a bit peed off with them, especially as they messed up the last order and gave me a 5 quid off voucher, which i've used 3 times. it only applies itself once, so it just proves how useless they are. it was still active last time i shopped there but didn't complete the transaction because i had to cancel yet again.

to make it worse, i'm sure i gave amazon co uk a glowing report in one topic, that i've since lost

    but thank you
  • Hello all,
and thankyou for moving it to a more appropriate location.

Apologies for the delay in replying, but have been away all weekend.

I was going to post the system, but this seems to have already been covered.

The 2 times I have asked for a refund of the dirfference, I have merely sent a polite e-mail asking if the difference can be credited to my card.

Each time they have replied pretty promptly, and credited it very promptly.

Glad this has helped a few people, but it looks like it has already been covered anyway!

    Cheers

    Dan

Anyone know what the policy is with play.com? Ordered Quake 4 on Saturday at £14.99 - received email to say it's been dispatched today. However it's now £9.99 on the website - what are the chances of recovering the extra fiver?

Thanks for this OP, purchased an item for £192.99 on 13th December and it's now been reduced to £181.78. I've emailed them for the difference and look forward to them doing this :)
