YES they were all separate orders, Looking back through my order i can only blame myself for rushing order through,It was late at night, I was very tired.....
Next morning I re looked at my order and had ordered books twice Yes so have 2 books here that are identical!
I emailed all the sellers following morning because I thought postage to high, tried to cancel all orders but they said basically "TOUGH" your order has been despatched, still waiting on another 2 packages to arrive!!!! Amazon dont want to know.I would love to be a Travel Agent :j0 -
You didn't buy from amazon Lynn - you bought from individual sellers on amazon marketplace - its a bit like ebay.0

If marketplace orders don't arrive within a reasonable time you may be able to claim a chargeback through Amazon since Amazon underwrites all marketplace orders. You can only do this five times in the life of your account though.0 -

Did you buy from Amazon or from a seller on Amazon marketplace? If from Amazon themselves, then if it has not been dispatched, go to your account online, view recent orders and cancel the order. Then start again and you will get the reduced price.
I have never had a problem with Amazon. They are amazingly good and reliable. The marketplace is another matter altogether of course. Sellers are supposed to meet certain standards in terms of quality and service, but that is not fully within Amazon's control.0 -
Well I've just tried this trick with an existing order and it's split my order (with supersaver free shipping) into two deliveries because a couple of items are held up. Each delivery is contains £15 worth of items and NO CHARGE FOR SHIPPING. This is great!0

I have had a confusing email regarding a £30 gift certificate that I had not recived so I emailed them to chase it.
This is their reply:
Dear Customer
Thank you for writing to Amazon.co.uk regarding your order (#202-
2391475-8903833) for a Gift Certificate.
Please accept our sincere apologies. Unfortunately, as a result of a
technical issue, we have not been able to dispatch your certificate
to your recipient within the estimated dispatch time.
We are trying hard to resolve this issue. However, at this moment we
are unable to confirm when this problem will be solved. We are also
unable to cancel the gift certificate at this time.
In order to resolve this issue, we will refund you for the gift
certificate once the order is complete. Therefore, please write to us
once the gift certificate has been dispatched and we will refund you
after cancelling it.
I understand that this is not the best solution, however, this is the
only option available to us at this time.
We endeavour to provide our customers with the best possible customer
experience and we realise that on this occasion, we have not met that
standard. We hope you will give us an opportunity to serve you again.
Any ideas as to what it means? Am I getting the certificate to give to a friend for Xmas or not? :santa2:0
