i'm sure there is an upper limit, it's more the fact that if you give people ammo on here, quite often they will have a pop at IA with it!

just don't want her to give them any ammunition...

I think she knows we are proud of her anyway!

  • more trouble than it's worth with who?

don't let the opinions of trolls govern what you do....

altho for what it's worth i do think it's a good idea to have put it to savings, well done!!!

Although while you're getting any benefits it mightn't be prudent to show that you have savings in your sig... it could affect your eligability or something, although i know it probably doesn't until a certain limit... knowing how people like to challenge you, i'd just be wary of having it constantly on show and risk being criticised on it when you talk about any other money you might be claiming......

i hope that doesn't sound like a back handed troll remark, cause it so isn't.... i hope you know where i'm coming from?

No course I don't think it sounded like a back handed troll remark :) You're right there are some people out there who'd love to stick a knife in my back. With benefits it's only really once you get over £3000 that any savings starts to have an effect. Also the fact that the money was from a backdated tax credit overpayment means that any money from it doesn't count as an 'asset' as I was entitled to it all along but just didn't get it. If that makes sense. But no you're right about having it in my sig. Thanks for pointing that out! And as for the causing more trouble it's not troll related. Just makes things easier in my home life if I don't use it for something for myself. If that makes sense.
