  • Afternoon. :) Had a really good night last night... went out to a pub with a mate and there was 2 strippers and a drag act  Was funny though but we made a hasty exit before the 'full monty'! lol!!

Had a letter this morning from tax credits as I had to call them up last week and update my information... AGAIN.... so today I recieved £8 odd extra payment.. and as of tomorrow my payments at £91.28... still nothing from Income support though...
Did well money wise last night. Only took my £15 with me and came back with some change... so time for an updated target budget..

    £26.72 in bank
    £8.75 in purse
    £91.28 tc tomorrow
    = £126.75

    £10 emergenies/just in cases budget
    £6 band
    £35 owed to friend
    = £41

= £85.75 paid off egg :D bringing the total to £889.10 as of tomorrow :D
    Waheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey :D

Roll on tomorrow :D Won't be able to spend any more money til tuesday when the CB goes in.. but I'm not able to go out this weekend anyway so no way of spending money. lol Plus then it'll make december's target even easier. Haven't decided yet whether to just go for getting it under £800 or go for the £750... I'm thinking £800 and anything more's a bonus...

I just really wish that income support/housing benefit/council tax benefit would get their a*ses in to gear! Gaaaaaaaaah!

  • Well done you! I think I am inclined to agree that under 800 is a better target with anything else a bonus. I know you like impossible missions but you don't want to stretch yourself too far and feel like you have failed when you get it down to 751! Great stuff getting the Xmas stuff all bought and paid for too.
  • Morning all. TC day today and because of the stupid way my internet banking shows the balances my target calculations were wrong yesterday  Oh well.. With the new amounts in mind I've worked it out and paid £69.08 off my card this morning.. taking the new balance down to £905.76. Sooooo close. Can't afford any more right now though as saving £10 for what ifs, £6 for the band and £35 that I need to pay back a mate. I'm only £5.77 short of my under £800 target, and I've got £45 coming from quidco so as soon as that goes into the bank I'll pay that straight off the card and get it down to £860.76 :T

So yea.... back on the slow road to debtfreeness. :D Roll on quidco day..

  • News!!!!
I found change in my purse enough to cover band practice on sunday.. and so because of that I have paid off another £6 off my egg card... taking the new balance to....
    £899.76!!!!!! :T  :T
Needless to say I'm happy I hit my target in the end. :D

Also... in other news.... this mornings post brought my income support AND housing/council tax benefit awards :D Have a nice cheque from IS for £121 to cover the next 2 weeks and then will get a cheque every week.. odd.. as I asked them to pay it into the bank.. but oh well. Either way. Just need to call up the council to let them know the IS has gone through and get that updated, then let the housing association and council tax know that the benefits have gone through...

    waheeeeeeeeeey :D
