Hi, this is my very first post ever so be gentle with me

I used to work for empire stores and thought I had something useful to add to this thread. Note it does not work for this bike but it is worth knowing that when an item is offered at a reduced price the catalogue number remains the same except the second letter. So if you are wanting to order an item but want to check that it is not on offer at a lower price it is worth trying a few different catalogue numbers, for example if item ts1234 is in a sale it is likely to have a cataloge number tr1234 or tt1234 as these letters are close in the alphabet, but its worth (if you have the time and/or inclination) having a quick check through the alphabet. It's just wrong I know that if you want an item you don't automatically get it at the reduced price, but that's the way it works. I know at the moment there are a lot of items listed in different sections at different prices, just thought this info might save people trawling through.

Thanks!!! just ordered Winnie bike for daughter's 2nd bday in Feb!! had a problem ordering online...it wouldnt accept my Visacard, called them up and it still didn't work for them
Had to use my 'other' card ....but a great bargain!! cheers!!!!:beer:

I see the delivery time for these has changed, it's now showing as 2-3 weeks. Think we must have overloaded their couriers!

How long does it normally take for orders to show up on your account? It says 24/48 hours when I log in - can anyone who has an account with them actually track their bicycle order online yet, or am I the only one who can't see it? I'm feeling paranoid and am worried I won't actually get a bike in time for Christmas!

Same here.....had this problem with Empire last year when all the electrical stuff was reduced drastically. Order went through and all of a sudden it never arrived even though they said they attempted delivery!!!!!!!!
Funnily enough it was out of stock by then!

Littlewoods have a nice trike 'Little Tikes' down to 30 from 60 and with first time customer code you could get it for 15. May be worth hedging your bets and applying for this one just in case?
