Brilliant let us know how it goes I sent my letter recorded delivery to the head office, which I later found out is closed, hopefully they have the mail redirected, so if you get it sorted via email I will send an email as well.
  • Has any one heard anything yet?? I have sent a letter via special delivery but am still waitng for a response!!!!
  • They've now removed it from the site
  • I have heard nothing to the various emails I have sent off to various managers and departments !
  • currys have relisted it now at 479 with correct image and note in red saying :

Package Price incl. 5 games and Joytech Pad

    Admissino of guilt me thinks!

This morning I recieved an envelope adressed to me and all that was inside it was a till receipt from currys with a refund of £209 !!!!!!

I spoke to a CS manager yesterday and he let it slip that a fair few emails had been lost. I got a fax number of him which is 0870 909 0333 to register your complaint.
  • Just called customer services and was told:
They have been told by head office that , trading standards have informed them that "it was definately a misprice and it was ok to refund credit cards " ???
Also no manager would be available to talk to me about this matter , as they have been advised not to. I would have to write to them for any further information

Seems a bit strange to me

They have said that to me too but don't give up thats what they want to happen. I am quite prepared to take the gits to court if i have to and they won't win....
  • the fact that theyve told some people they would get their orders at the wrong price, coupled with the fact theyve now changed the details on the item and images suggests an admission of guilt in my book

    so keep fighting!
