    I too received the receipt of refund this morning, so i spoke to trading standards & they told me to write to my credit card company to say they are also liable. It does appear people on this site are getting better results http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=278384&page=2
  • Hi everyone

    Interesting post, I have not bought this product but am in the very same position as everyone over an order for a Bosch dishwasher from 365electrical.com was advertised at £242 on website, I purchased, got confirmation email and charged credit card. They then phoned to cancel order saying it was incorrect price should have been £460.

    If you have written order confirmation and credit card has been charged then contract beas been entered into. Currys operate the 3 email policy as you have all been talking about, however some people are seeing their credit card charged prior to recieveing the third email reciept. If you are in this position then call you local court, ask for a small claims pack and fill it in. You can claim the difference between the price you were offered and the cost to purchase the identical items elsewhere plus court costs.

    Talking to your credit card, well you will find that all they can do is get your money back nder mastercard / visa regulations after 30 days. You could take a small claim case against the credt card company under section 75 of credit act, however its easier to go after the retailer.

    I have lodged my small claims case against 365electrical.com

  • tell them you will report it to BBC's watchdog!my sister did that once when she had a problem with 3g and they cancelled all the charges, but she didnt just threaten them she did actually tell BBC's watchdog team!

    Just had the phonecall from customer services at Dixons apologising & saying that my order will be fulfilled, fantastic. Thanks to everyone on this forum I wouldn't have even attempted this without your advice.

    Looks like Currys are dispatching the £209 orders this week. Received this today -
