So what would you do in the OP's position?
You wait five months to get the item, they offer you £100, but you think you are entitled to £120 per month, tax free. Money savers on here are keen to know.
We've all said what we think- I can't see any use to the op in yet another thread ending in other posters arguing and going ot.
The op indicated earlier that they would accept the money. Hopefully, it will have been resolved by now:rolleyes:
At least I now know not to order my new suite from Homebase, so cheers to the op!0 -
The title of the board should give you a bit of a hint, it's a "Vent Board", your highly unlikely to get good karma stories posted in here are you!!!!! Good grief, people come here for advice and to let off steam not to get half arsed comments by people trying to big em selves up.
If your not prepared to help them, or to respond to them in a constructive manner then don't bother at all. Since the likes of DaveBrooker and Linus have decided to become the "retailers champions" these boards have rapidly gone downhill. New posters feel intimidated by the inane comments that they continuely spue forth. And those of us who are prepared to offer constructive advice or hold a resoned argument just can't be bothered because of the immature behaviour of a couple of posters.
Pareto's law at work. 20% spoiling it for 80%
Thank you so much for your post, I joined this forum with a name that unrich recognised that was being used by someone else on the Internet, now being new to this world of computing it has taken this long to work out how to change my ID but quite frankly after reading the comments here I see it is a pattern of negative responses, to what like my post appears to be a genuine vent. Thank you, and good luck Emma in trying for recompense..0
