Right my chuckies, I am off on the ole shopping trip 2moz after church and I am dreading it. We are going to Morrisons and I only have £40 at a push to spend and that is to feed 3 of us. Including dinner for me but when my mum is not about I try not to eat but she is here most days arghh.
We still have some things in but I am limited what I can eat. I have been naughty and had bad foods. Need to stick to very low fat next week, quorn and chicken. Only problem is my dad and daughter dnt eat quorn.
Going to have a nosy at recipes on here see if I can gain some cheap ideas.
Just trying to think....would they eat turkey instead of chicken? or a veggie stir fry? how about doing up a batch of veggie soup from some carrots, parsnips, swede and onion? sorry for interfering, just trying to think of low fat cheap alternatives from my weightwatchers daysJonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

Evening all
I have sat this evening whilst watching drivel on the box and off the top of my head have come up with 45 main meals I can make out of stuff I have in the freezers, fridges, cupboards :j and thats without things like corned beef hash etc -which we will HAVE to have nomnomnom :rotfl: ...So Im pondering on keeping my monthly budget the same and using some of the extra to either buy more store items or a few extras for xmas... We have decided on home made beef wellington for xmas dinner-which I have done before and they were stunning -so I will need to splash out on some fillet steak;) -however -we now eat much smaller meals so it won't be too bad. Just need to wait and see if my brother is or isn't going to come for xmas -so i know how much I need!
Have plenty planned for tomorrow...- Need to make more bread,
- turn the leftover chicken into chicken, leek n cheese pies for the freezer (have made the pastry and stuck it in the fridge
),
- have a small gammon defrosting -needs cooking -stock turning into pea soup for hubbies flask
- having roast lamb n yorkshires for dinner -leftover lamb to be turned into minted lamb n potato pies
right I will get off and updat the list....have a good evening all-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Well hubby has spent £1.93, milk and relentless (yuk!)
but i think only the newspapers tomorrow are left to be bought!
MRSM - are you getting the fight?
and please put us down for £150 for December, just in case we need extras, i'm not cooking xmas dinner so don't have to worry about that, but we are going out for dinner so am lumping that in to our total.
i'll declare on tuesday

Morning folks!
I think I'm going to declare for November at £169.74 which I'm VERY pleased at :T:T
I have a freezer full of Cauldron sausages (on offer at MrT £1) so if nothing else we can have sausage and mash:rotfl:
Loads of fudge and truffles in the freezer for Xmas pressies so once they're out of the way I'll get some 'proper' food in there.
No idea yet what's happening at Xmas(family illness) but I'm going to up my December budget to £200 as I'm sure we'll have people over on at least one day during the festive season
I'll probably do caramelised onion and lentil wellington for Xmas lunch which is dead cheap and really tasty, cake and mincemeat are made already, I 'll buy a pud as I can't be doing with all that steaming
Off to make another cuppa now and then get OH up!!0 -

I would complain and you will probably find that they will give you a refund when you next go in/ In the meantime, make that call
