Well I was doing quite well catching up on the thread until I came across pigpen's 'Japanese flag' and 'butterfly print knickers' comments:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...............I sort of lost concentration after that. Still giggling away at them.:rotfl:

But I shall try to remember -
GnB - Awww poor you. Hope your on the mend soon.
serena - I hope DD is feeling better soon
sexymouse - I'm sure you'll find something much more suitable
soappie - I watched that prog this afternnoon. I seen something similar before. There's loads of stuff on youtube about it as well. I was having one of my I can't sleep nights and found it all whilst aimleessly wandering in cyberspace. Also came across David Icke (remember him?). Some of the stuff he says gives you food for thought too!
juliejim - I'd let him sleep. DD used to do a 15/16 sleep straight through every 3 months or so. She still does one now on occasions.

I know I've forgotten loads:o, sorry, but hello to returners, newbies and regulars.

Right must go and look at the pegs Valli has found:p

Valli - How about putting a curtain up of some sort in the doorway? Thats what I'm going to do in here (hopefully at the weekend)...

    speaking of which....

(ooo....just found out Abakhan online takes Paypal :D )

I have material to make my curtains and all it says on the label is "house" (I think looking at the website its just upholstery material which is supposed to be dry clean only) How much material should I leave as spare to allow for shrinkage? The doorsways are 2m high and I'm putting the curtains on curtain wire and hooks (no room to fit dowelling). I was thinking of cutting them at 2.3m so there is 10cm to create a pocket at the top for the wire and 20cm at the bottom to create a weight & draft excluder  Also should I trim the material? Its about 1.5m wide and the doorways are only about 80cm wide.

I am SO tired. It's been an exhausting day, had a walk in the park with OH as it's his day off - I love him dearly but on the days he is in the flat he really gets under my feet!!! hahaha , we had a friend over for lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon with her drinking coffee in the local deli, was lovely. I made chicken stock in the morning for the baby purees and went on to make chicken + sweet potato puree and leek and potato. Ruby yummed them up and I've got a tray of baby food pre-prepared now.

    Tonights plans:

Read some of my book (BEFORE I do some housework or I will never get round to it)
    Make lasagne for tomorrow
    Make tomorrows two baby purees

    Tidy bedroom
    Ironing

    Pigpens list (still eek)

Thanx everyone for the congrats and support.

Polka.... RE patches. I cant use them cos they make me sick for some strange reason, and all the other things dont agree with me so I am going to do it cold turkey with the help of chewing gum, and lots of flying and flylady support hehe.

We've just got back from tesco, gonna feed the kids, feed myself and DP then chill out for the rest of the night.

Whatever works best for you-you still know where I am. The patches made me ill in the beginning and then Tooti pointed out you are not supposed to sneak AT ALL. I just had a Mayfair with visitor-really two drags and then I had to go shower. So now IM really feeling proud of me coz I know Im really done with them:j He can smoke all week end I wont even want to think about joining him:)

I had another night up with DD, in considerable pain and distress, so a visit to the doctor's as soon as we could this morning. She has a urinary tract infection that has spread to the kidney - no wonder she is so ill. I am not very happy with the out of hours service, who should have picked up on the mention of back ache and sorted out a consultation earlier, and I'm even crosser with myself for waiting until Monday, rather than doing something about it over the weekend - even if she was better during the days. I'm here as she's asleep at the moment, finally stopped being sick, so the antibiotics and painkillers have a chance to work. Just checking every half an hour.
serena hugs to you and your DD - one infection is bad enough but both must be torture - hope the medication kicks in and helps soon.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
