  • Please somebody tell me what is mysupermarket?
Serena I hope your DD is soon better. Don't beat yourself up about not taking her to the doctor's sooner. My DD has kidney problems and even though I know she is prone to kidney infections I still don't always recognise the symptoms. Also the backache can be misleading because children's kidney aren't in their backs. They move to the back as they grow.

TAG we will probably be away sunday- thursday next summer as we were this year but open to suggestion of times/places, then see what I can do, depending when it is I might be able to plan a holiday near it......but have to remember we're all on different summer hols, school differences plus we have those who are in Scotland on different hols to those in England. It might be worth going for a west coast place, near where ferrys are from Ireland if those from across the water would like to go. Just throwing suggestions in, possible problems I suppose aswell as we're all so far away from each other, from IOM, Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland....then NZ aswell....

Personally I think we should all go to see Denise myself;)...............I'm in need of a holiday!!

Thanks for that. I'm not sure how useful it will be to me because I only have a Tesco near home. The nearest Asda or Sainsburys is about 15 miles away. I'll get out this week's receipt and do a comparison.

Well that didn't take long at all! Most of it was up together anyway from when I washed the kitchen windows at the weekend.

Have also prepped a beef stew with carrots, parsnip, turnip, celery and onion etc. That's in the oven now and should be ready about 8.30pm. The potatoes are peeled and just need boiling up at the right time. The cabbage is out ready to slice and dice at the appropriate time too.

I'm just having -you'll never guess what - a cup of tea! I'm too cold for gin or wine at the moment - that must be a first!

    QUIT SMOKING!!!!!

    please keep me motivated everyone.
Any suggestions for first thing in the morning, I normally reach for a ciggie as soon as i get out of bed!

I haven't caught up with the whole thread yet. Just answering as I go but............

I always have a ciggie with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. I would suggest that you still have the coffee or tea, that's if you do of course. Otherwise you'll end up with caffeine withdrawal as well, like I did last time I packed up:rolleyes::o
