  • Finally got DS2 in bed (Again!!) that boy does not like to sleep, he had about an hours kip all day, even though he was dog tired and being a pain.

DH had to cook dinner, and now i am just going to try and do my boots online order. I have just rediscovered how much i hate that website - it takes forever to go to the next page. If they didn't do such good deals with the points i would not bother.

lil-me thanks for pointing out the best way of doing the boots order, i had that code, but i didn't know about the other offer, and it would have slipped my mind to go via the ipoints, and as you say, every little bit will add up.

I've just been umming and ahhing, and i think after the advice from julie and valli, i may leave the meadowhall trip tomorrow and then go next week. I don't want to go for long, so if it were packed it would not be enjoyable in the slightest.

well done girls on the weight loss. I have put on about 4 Ibs in the last 3 weeks since i stopped feeding DS2, so i need to do something about it. My problem has been 2 birthday parties for DS1 i think, and all the junk food a kiddies party entails, but i don't want to regain the 11/2 stone to where i was when i fell pregnant. I've done well to get to where i am and no point in undoing it.

I had some good news today, my best friend from uni just announced she is pregnant. I seem to be surrounded by babies at the moment. It's lovely though.

Right, back to my boots order, as i don't think i am making it happen any quicker by posting here
  • I'm still going. I'm all on my own tonight. DD has gone for a sleepover.
I'm going to do a HHC if anyone fancies joining me.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
  • Cheers pigpen - I will not be doing that list as there are no littlies here and I will only do a little of my room to keep plodding on with it - it will be like a day off for me - thank you ssssooooooooooooo much!!!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

For the tuesday list, as we are somewhat lacking in both 'spare 'om' and 'room of doom', and I've got my long work day 2mr (8 - 5), I think I'll do the minimum, wm, dw, etc and see how I get on.

Well done Galant and LG on your weight loss! Doesn't it feel fab! I'm usually good for the first few weeks and then give up. I can't this time because I don't want to be fat and 40 so that's my insentive!

Just been dog training, she's doing so well!

I made a lovely stew with dumplings for when I came in but just had it with vegetables wheras in the past i'd have had it with potatoes too!

Lots to do tomorrow as had a lovely lazy afternoon. Tomorrow spotty dotty has to do all the flying with me as I have to put her on a lead and get her to walk around with me to teach her not to pull. She thinks it's great!!! She gets to stay with a human all the time!

Tomorrow i'm going to finish today's list as well as do Tuesdays' list. Guess i'd better go and look at it.

Massive hugs to Serena and DD xx
  • Galant - still want to lose approx 1st8 but I'm not breaking my neck about it like last time, so half way there. I don't starve myself all day but I do cut back and also cut right back on the drinks as I tend to bloat. TMI!

Have just finished sorting my x-stitch threads so Yippee Skippy I've completely finished today's list - everything - in toto - I knew it would have to happen at least once

I'm glad I haven't got loopy's list tho' - loopy, I borrowed people's SD cards off their digital cameras instead of disposable cameras when I got married 2 months ago and that worked out better for me. Also remind people to take photos on the evening - I've got loads of the day but not many of the evening do (everyone was too smashed to care!).

Nicki - have you finished your assignment yet?

Pigpen - any luck with finding the card?

Serena - hope DD is feeling a bit better

That's me done for tonight - better put on my thick jumper and coat and me and hubby will go for our nightly walkies.

Have a good flutter tomorrow ladies (and Tom)

    LG

    I'd rather be watching CSI!

    My list for tomorrow is;

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Sweep and mop floors

    Wipe dining table
Dust any extra furniture in dining area and living room
Wipe and replace all those small appliances
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances

Clear the floor of clutter in DSs room
Find a bag of things you no longer need
Have a carrier bag each and fill it with rubbish

I've no children here to do the list (up in Scotland still) so i'm doing a couple of the bits that need doing. Apart from that it's not a bad list. Pigpen - you're being very kind to us, are you expecting a big chrismas present from us? xx

Stew was lovely (even if I do say so myself!) and there's some left over to stick in the freezer for a rainy day.

But I'm pooped so I'm off to snuggle down in bed with the dog at my feet to keep my toes warm.
