On a really positive note - ok, i've bug**red my back up but i've now finished my christmas shopping. All done online and via quidco! The best deal was for the starwars lego which i've never seen on offer before. It was 3 for 2 at Woolies so i've got £170 worth of lego (probably about three bricks!!) with one kit at £49.99 free, 10% off through quidco, 6% back via quidco, my dad is paying for one of the kits for DSs joint birthday / christmas present, and i'm left to pay.....£34.99:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ! Now that is a bargain!!! Oh, nearly forgot....I put it on a money back credit card too! :T xx
    Way to go Mudbath:money:

    smihug.gifWhat's the problem?
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Dont worry, i'm good at nagging:D We had the same problem with LO when she was about 15mths. She had rotavirus and ended up in intensive care, my mums doctor came out to see her and couldnt believe the hospital had sent her home - bare in mind she has a serious heart condition too. He made us take her straight to the hospital and she went up to ICU straight away. She was limp and pretty non responsive by this time:eek:

It's scarey isn't it... DS was like that, nearly unconcious with not a clue what was going on, I was in bits, it was only hubby who kept it together and made them get someone down to see him... Glad you're good at nagging, and even more glad that the pills seem to be doing something and you're feeling better. take care of yourself...

Went to get keys today, felt very rushed looking round the house. So we just said yeah and went to sign the forms.

Went back to have a proper look round, realised there is only and electrical connection for the cooker, no gas. So phoned them up and they said they are only obliged to offer one source of power for cooking. If we want gas we'll have to pay for it... thing is the kitchen would need to be totally refitted to run gas pipes around so we're looking at £300+.

Thing is, we should have had it pointed out to us about the cooker thing when we went for our first viewing! Not a word was said about it.
So now we have a tenancy for a house we cant cook in unless we pay out hundreds of quid!!!! And i really dont want to buy an electric cooker cos i hate electric, AND we are bloody skint so cant afford any of this anyway!!!

lol when DH died W was too young to go to the funeral but he came to the wake in the church hall afterwards. It was lovely because as far as he was concerned it was a party and he, Miss A and their cousins were all running round eating sandwiches and having a lot of fun. It certainly helped lift the spirits of those that were there.

And I bet that means a lot to you as well that the children were happy on such a sad day.

    Evening ladies

Had an eventful week at work -as you do - done 6 hrs today 3 x 2hr jobs all with driving inbetween when my boss phones with 3 more jobs for me  not for today I hasten to add, managed to fit them in..... more work but also more money yeeeeeee-hah who said there's a recession *tuts* :D Got back in at 6ish - peeled the spuds for tea which are bubbling away as we speak - decorated the living room ready for Halloween tomorrow :j at work all day till 6ish again so wont be in [strike]any fit state[/strike] have time to do it then, had to dig them from under the stairs though eek!

Still got this cold hanging around too *sniff* hope it's better for Monday cause I want to do my weight training it's been two weeks already and it'll start to hurt again if I leave it longer plus I miss the buzz afterwards and the warm muscles - no need for HW bottles when you weight train :D

    Erm....minds gone blank..........

    .........still blank...........

Need to measure up for a curtain rail in the living room, the blinds I've got up are worse than useless so I need to get that bought and the lined curtains up asap- cause it's chilleeeeeeeeeee brrrrr

The list:- well there isn't one, done 3 entire houses today so I've had my fill for one day, the w/e is nearly here so it can all wait till Saturday when I'm off yay!

Best check on the spuds, they've been alone too long goodness knows what they're doing.....

ps. haven't read all the thread so hope everyone's hunky dory - big hugs if not xx
